沙行勉
 

博士生导师,教授。1986年本科毕业于国立台湾大学资讯工程学系;后于1991年和1992年分别获美国普林斯顿大学 (Princeton University) 计算机科学系硕士学位和博士学位。1992年起任教于美国Notre Dame大学计算机科学与工程系,并于1995年起担任该系系副主任。2000年起作为终身职正教授任教于美国德州大学达拉斯分校(UTD)计算机科学系。2001年曾担任计算机科学部主任。自2001年起,担任该校(UTD)“计算机系统”主任教授 (Coordinator)。

发表论文:

在相关国际学术会议及国际核心期刊上发表学术论文200余篇, 其中包括许多IEEE 和 ACM Transactions 论文 (详细目录请见http://www.utdallas.edu/~edsha) 。曾担任很多个国际会议的评审委员会委员(program committee),并负责多个期刊的编审工作(including several IEEE Transactions)。共获各类国家级教学、科研奖项19项,其中包括Oak Ridge Association Junior Faculty Enhancement Award, 美国国家科学基金NSF CAREER Award, NSF ITR grant, Notre Dame CSE Teaching Award, 以及 微软Microsoft Trustworthy Curriculum Award 等。主持多次国际重要学术会议 (as a technical program or general chair),包括Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI (GLSVLSI) 1994, Parallel and Distributed Computing (PDCS) 2000 and PDCS 2001, Parallel and Distributed Embedded Systems (PDES) 2005, Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing (EUC) 2006, Embedded Software Optimizations (ESO) 2006。沙行勉教授的研究项目受到美国国家科学基金 NSF (CAREER, ITR, EIA, IIS), 德州仪器 Texas Instruments, AT&T, Texas ARP, Microsoft, USA等多个国家级, 州政府,和工业界基金的支持。
